Unimaginably vast and incomprehensibly diverse. Huge metropolises, where gold plated onion domes are dwarfed by the brute glass high-rises, matryoshka nesting dolls and Father Frost, tundra, taiga, steppes or deserts and mountains. Russia is a true wonderland for off-road exploration. Reveal your own Russia: with deep valleys and gorges; with imposingly towering granite plateaus up to dreamy washes of the White Sea.
The Kola Peninsula is a godsend for those, who are mesmerized by the unusual and unpredictable, by the true wilderness. Pristine forests, sublime mountains, tranquil tundra, and mirror-like silver lakes will leave a lifelong impression on you.

Nature:
Before us lies a fantastic journey between White and the Barents Seas. We will explore the Kola peninsula in its entirety – ever- changing landscape, along with the cultures of the Russian – Lapland and Tersky coasts, and the hospitality of the local people.
As most of the Kola peninsula is above the Arctic Circle, the sun never really sets in summer. From the end of August, the midnight sun makes way for a flaming golden autumn. Then, it is almost certain that we can see the northern lights dance in the sky.

Culture:
On this tour we will visit the northernmost metropolis in the world - St. Petersburg. We take a day trip to Kizhi Island in the Onega Lake, and see the Kizhi Pogost, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site and apart from that just a sight to behold. Our journey is enriched with stories about the Sami and their way of life.
With a little luck, we will spot moose, reindeer and other wildlife from our campsites in a vast Russia`s wilderness. Each evening we share stories of our adventures around the campfire, before we dive into Arctic Circle off-roading adventure again the next day.

Driving conditions:
During our Russian expedition “Murmansk” we encounter all imaginable kinds of terrain: sand dunes, arctic deserts and endless beach drives along the White Sea alternate with dense, tall forests and semi-abandoned, muddy paths. The easternmost point of the Kola Peninsula is only reachable by 4x4 vehicles. Fantastically rich nature of the Murmansk region, with its crystal clear lakes and rivers, with its picturesque landscapes will fill each moment of our tour with overwhelming impressions.
